My name is Elin and I am 28 years old. I just found out that I had ABS. I was surfing the internet about my "deformed" fingers on both hand and on toes on right foot. My "deformed" fingers haven't stopped me from doing what I want to do. ABS effected both of my hands and my right foot. On my right hand I have a normal pinky and thumb; on my left hand the pinky is normal.
I work in a daycare and the kids ask me what happened to me and why I have small fingers and I tell them I was born like this.  When I was 7 years other kids started teasing me and the teasing didn't stop until I was 19 years old.
